Mission to Mali, 2009

From September 30th through October 15th, Bill & Joan Dotson will be in Mali, West Africa on a Mission Trip. Attached is their itinerary, and we ask that you pray for them as they volunteer their time and effort in Mali.

Trip Highlights:

• 10/2-3: Be in the city of Bamako at the Guest House. Working in a neighborhood - prayerwalking and telling Bible stories.
• 10/4: Attending Bethel Baptist Church Sunday am - continue working in the neighborhood in Bamako. Prepare for trip to bush.
• 10/7-10: Be in M Village - praying with the villagers - Bill will be helping with the harvest in the fields - having worship times each evening and sharing the gospel. The new believers are experiencing spiritual warfare.

The first place of ministry was the neighborhood in Bamako - meeting with the chief of the neighborhood and 30 of his elders (all of whom are Muslin) was totally beyond our comprehension. Bill told the story of Phillip and the Ethiopian (African) to these men. read more
